City boss shows his gratitude to young club mascot
Young Cape Town City fan Mateo Manousakis will have his school fees paid for by club chairman John Comitis next year.

Mateo was seen on videos on social media leading the Citizens in war songs before every match this past season.
City chairman thanked Mateo for his contribution to the club’s success and growth in support.
“Cape Town City chairman John Comitis also took the opportunity to recognise the humble and much-loved mascot Mateo Manousakis. The chairman will be paying Mateo’s school fees next season to honour Mateo’s contribution to ibhola lethu,” read a tweet from Cape Town City.
