Chippa reportedly sack coach Joel Masutha

Struggling Chippa United have reportedly parted ways with interim coach Joel Masutha following a string of poor results.

According to the reports. Masutha is set to be replaced by former Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen.

Masutha, who was fired by Black Leopards earlier this season, was appointed as Chippa coach at the beginning of December last year. He replaced Eric Tinkler who was shown the exit door after a poor start to the season.

The former Lidoda Duvha coach was in charge of Chippa for five games and failed to win any of the matches.

Phakaaathi tried to get a comment from new Chippa CEO Morgan Mammila, club COO Lukhanyo Mzinzi, and from Masutha, but their phones ring unanswered.
