Amakhosi have announced that Ismael Olivier Toure, who was on trial at the club over the past two weeks, has disappeared, and no one seems to know his whereabouts after he was dropped off at the OR Tambo Airport on Thursday.
Amakhosi have tweeted that after the player was escorted to the airport, he never boarded the plane he was booked in.
“Ismael Toure, a centre half was released this week and transported to the airport … The player had arrived in the country on our invitation,” read some of the tweets by Chiefs on Friday afternoon.

Amakhosi said they had notified all relevant authorities of Toure’s disappearance, and yet no one knows where he might be.
Toure was released after he failed to make an impression on coach Steve Komphela. He was one of four foreign trialists who joined Amakhosi in early January, with the hope of securing a move to the Absa Premiership giants.
Another of the trialists, Miracle Gebaye from Malawi, reportedly went to Chiefs without his club’s consent.
