Kaizer Chiefs have revealed the outcome of the disciplinary committee hearing on the matter involving forward Dumisani Zuma.
Earlier this month, Chiefs announced that they have suspended Zuma, after he was reportedly arrested for drunk driving.
This was after the forward was arrested during a roadblock in the early hours in Sandton on 3 November.
In a statement released by the club on Thursday night, Chiefs said forward will remain suspended from all club activities and will attend a rehab.
“A disciplinary hearing was held to deal with the matter relating to Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Dumisani Zuma. An independent chairperson presided over the hearing process.
“Following the hearing and the recommendations made, Mr Dumsani Zuma will be disciplined in line with the company’s disciplinary code. He has been suspended from Club activities and will attend rehabilitation,” read the Chiefs statement.
Prior to his suspension Zuma had not any appearance for Chiefs this season as he was nursing an injury.
Word coming out of Naturena is that the 26-year-old forward will be offloaded at the end of the season.
