Maluleka has won two back-to-back Absa Premiership Man of the Match and is in good stead for the Player of the Month for February.
He was the best performer when the Glamour Boys beat Free State Stars 3-1 and again when they beat Maritzburg United 2-1 at the weekend.
“I am doing very well and I feel confident,” Maluleka was quoted as saying in Isolezwe on Wednesday. “But I am not doing the job alone, it is the entire team. I can’t stand here and say it is my hard work alone, it is because we all have the same dream in the team,” he added.
He also revealed that because of their four match winning streak, going to training is now a joy for all the players.
“The atmosphere is great and going to gym is a breeze for all the players. We want to take each game is it comes and we want to collect full points from each.
“There is still a long way to go that is why I don’t want to talk about the title just yet,” he said. Maluleka said they derive joy in seeing their supporters leaving the stadium singing and celebrating.
“When our fans are happy, we are also happy. That gives us confidence. I think the happy days are back at Chiefs and it will be like this for a long time,” concluded the former SuperSport United man.
