Ahead of their Wednesday night clash against Platinum Stars, Chiefs have had a season to forget under Steve Komphela.
“We are used to teams playing their best football against us,” said Paez as quoted by the club’s official website.
“(Platinum) Stars won’t be any different. It is going to be a tough match. We have recovered well from the Polokwane City loss. We are excited about the prospects of getting back to winning ways with this match.”
“We have a strong mindset here,” emphasises Paez. “Of course we are disappointed with the current form and we want to make it right.”
“We have next season in mind,” continues the Venezuelan striker, “but first things first we have to win these two games and close the season on a high.
“We are professionals and know that we are serving a very hopeful and faithful supporters base.”
Amakhosi welcome midfield duo Willard Katsande and Siphiwe Tshabalala to the team, with the latter having recovered from his injury while the former was serving a one game suspension due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
