Last week, Phakaaathi reported the Carling Cup match would not take place due to the sponsor’s commitment to the 2018 Fifa World Cup, which falls on the dates of the game.
Carling Black Label director Grant Pereira confirmed the news on Monday morning, and announced they would launch a new partnership with the Premier Soccer League.
