Chiefs set to loan out Letlotlo

Phakaaathi has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs are set to send striker Emmanuel Letlotlo on loan in order to get game time.

“They [Chiefs] don’t want to sell him because the coach [Steve Komphela] likes him, but they just want him to go out and get game time somewhere else,” said a source close to Chiefs.

Letlotlo, who was the Diski Challenge top goalscorer last season, was promoted to the Amakhosi first team ahead of the 2016/17 season, but suffered a hip bone injury in August.

The 21-year-old striker has since struggled to get game time at the club, and now Chiefs are said to be considering sending him out on loan.

Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United and Highlands Park are said to be keen to sign the young striker.
