Chiefs’ Ntseki excited to meet ‘improved’ AmaZulu in new Cup
"We are looking forward to this game in terms of creating balance and playing to win in games," says Ntseki.

Molefi Ntseki is going to have another opportunity to be the hero who rescues Kaizer Chiefs from their ongoing trophy drought.

The chance for him to don the knight’s armour and make a difference comes with the start of the Carling Black Label Knockout.
In the previous tournament, the MTN8, Chiefs made it to the semifinals but that is as far as they could go as Sundowns knocked them out.
Making things even worse for Chiefs was that their sworn and traditional rivals, Orlando Pirates went on to claim the trophy.
However, with the launch of this new cup, Ntseki has a second shot at being the person who puts an end to the downward slide at Amakhosi.
“The first thing, I think, is to complement the PSL and the sponsor to have brought another cup into our league.
“As Kaizer Chiefs we are looking forward to doing well in these cup games,” said Ntseki after the draw on Tuesday afternoon.
Chiefs were drawn against AmaZulu FC, a side they have already beaten this season in a league game.
“AmaZulu are a good side, we have seen them when we played them at FNB Stadium.
“They have made some interesting signings… If you look and reflect on the game they played against us, they have played a lot after that.
“When they played us, they had not lost or conceded any goal. But on the day we did well, we managed to score goals and win the game.
“After that, I saw them playing Polokwane… The team has improved and so the tactical understanding of what the coach wants must be better.”
Ntseki sees progress with Chiefs
But Ntseki will obviously be more concerned with his own team who he feels are also getting there.
“As Kaizer Chiefs, we are looking to strike the balance between performance and results.
“We have been playing well, except for winning. We are looking forward to this game in terms of creating balance and playing to win in games.
“Because it is a cup game, you have to play to win. We are doing our own analysis and improving as a team.
“And we are very positive that the understanding in our team is getting better.

“The missing part in our game is that of not scoring goals. It is a tactical element that we are working on every time at training.”
