Chiefs no nearer to new coach

Kaizer Chiefs have yet to name a new head coach but a couple of candidates have so far fallen by the wayside.

Patrice Carteron was made head coach of Al-Ahly in Egypt, while Township Rollers head coach Nikola Kavazovic appeared to reveal that he would not join Chiefs in a tweet over the weekend.

“I feel a moral dutie (sic) to say BIG THANKS to all @KaizerChiefs fans who wrote me and wanted me there. I am shocked by number of people, didn’t expect that.

“Guess it was not rite (sic) moment but it will come for sure. Thank you very much once again & see you in future. God bless you all.”
