'Unfortunately the situation is very bad and we have to accept it, no excuses,' said the Chiefs head coach in his post match press conference.

Chiefs took the lead through a fine strike from Glody Lilepo but goals from Trevor Mathiane and Daniel Msendani meant it was Gallants who stunned Amakhosi in front of their own fans.
Chiefs’ unhappy 11
This was Chiefs 11th defeat of a dreadful Premiership campaign, with the Soweto giants in danger of failing to qualify for the MTN8 for the second season in a row.
Nabi has taken Chiefs into the Nedbank Cup final, where they will face Orlando Pirates on May 10 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. But they have now failed to win any of their last six top flight matches and have slipped out of the top eight in the table.
“Unfortunately the situation is very bad and we have to accept it, no excuses,” Nabi said in his post match press conference.
“The most worrying thing is not the result. We have even lost our way of playing. That is even more concerning.”
Nabi told SuperSport TV that Chiefs were not even playing well before Lilepo fired them in front with a superb long-range effort.
‘A very difficult position’
“We were not our best. The most important thing is the result and the result is not in our favour and we are in a very difficult position today. Our log standing (league position) is not very good” said Nabi told SuperSport after the game.

“In the first half even before we scored the goal from Lilepo, we were not really good in the game. We lacked a little bit in leadership (and) a little bit of conviction in our defensive and offensive actions.”
