The midfielder suffered an injury setback when he joined Chiefs from Bloemfontein Celtic in January.

“I was frustrated because of not being able to play, but the tremendous support I got from my family and friends helped a lot,” Mahlasela told the Chiefs website.
“I am glad to be at a club that has the kind of medical care as Chiefs have,” Mahlasela commented. “I feel good because I am getting better every time at training. My confidence is returning as well.”
“I don’t know how it will be when I get into match situations,” concluded the midfielder, “but I will be ready when the time comes.”
