Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Keagan Buchanan could reportedly move to Maritzburg United on loan in the January transfer period.

Buchanan has found game time hard to come by at Chiefs under the mentorship of coach Steve Komphela.

The Cape Town born midfielder joined Chiefs in the 2016/17 season with an injury, but has find it difficult to break into the team’s starting line-up upon his return from injury.

Now a source close to Buchanan told Sports24 that the player wants a club that will have him playing regularly and that team is believed to be Maritzburg.
