When Komphela was asked about progress in his search, he said it was still ongoing.

“It’s still going on, we still have a slot. We are fighting. We have to find one. I can’t put time frames on when we might get one,” said Komphela.
A source has revealed that a striker from North Africa whom they were eyeing has been offered to overseas clubs and could be going for trials there rather than at Naturena.
Chiefs could also land Cameroon star Ntouba Epoupa who is currently on the books of top Zimbabwean side Dynamos.
