The midfielder was invited to train with Chiefs two weeks ago before he was signed. The Venezuelan-born Italian midfielder will wear the number 28 jersey at Chiefs when the league resumes next Wednesday.
Paez has only managed 19 goals in 143 appearances since starting his career.
