Khuzwayo’s agent Tim Sukazi, however, was quoted in the media as saying he has not been in talks with the club’s football manager Bobby Motaung about the player’s future with the club.
The Umlazi-born player is linked with a move to Orlando Pirates.

Maphosa could not be drawn on the speculation about Khuzwayo’s future, saying Chiefs would only comment on Khuzwayo when the time is right.

“Khuzwayo is with us until the end of the season. After that or next season we cannot plan for that, we can’t talk about his contract right now, we can’t talk about it to the media, we can’t discuss it through the media right now,” Maphosa told Phakaaathi.
