Chiefs are still in contention for league title – Mphahlele
Kaizer Chiefs defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele believes that Amakhosi are still in the race for the Absa Premiership title.

Amakhosi are currently third on the log, trailing leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by seven points, with 10 matches to go.
They take on Cape Town City at home at FNB Stadium on Sunday in a match that Maphahlele has described as a must-win for the title chasing Chiefs team.
“It will be tough, but we need the three points to stay in contention for the league title,” Mphahlele told his club’s website.
“We just need to play as a team. We are still very much contenders for the league title,” he added.
Mphahlele made his return for Chiefs during the 3-0 win over Golden Arrows in the last-32 of the Nedbank Cup last Sunday.
The former Sundowns captain is pleased with his comeback after having been out for several months with a knee injury.
“It felt good to be back,” he said.
““I had to get used to the new formation in the first half,” he admits. “However, the coach spoke with me during the half-time break and he gave me the licence to join in attack if that was safe to do so.”
