Chiefs and Pirates vie for Billiat’s signature

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are said to be interested in want-away Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat.

The 27-year-old Zimbabwe international, who looks set to leave Sundowns at the end of the season, has also been linked with Cape Town City.

Teams from Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are also reportedly interested in him.

As reported earlier, Sundows have failed to convince Billiat to extend his stay at the club and will now try to sell him in January.

Billiat’s contract with Sundowns is set to end in June, and if Sundowns don’t sell him in January, he could leave for free at the end of the season.

The Zimbabwean forward has scored three goals in seven league matches for Sundowns this season.
