Bloemfontein Celtic have admitted that they have joined the race to sign Baroka FC attacking midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase.

Ntshangase has also been heavily linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, but Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco told Phakaaathi on Wednesday that he had spoken to Baroka CEO Morgan Mammila about a possible deal for the highly-rated 24 year-old.
“It is 100 percent correct (that we are talking to Baroka about Ntshangase),” said Konco on Wednesday.
“He has also been linked to Kaizer Chiefs and there is nothing concrete … there has been one phone call (with Mammila), I don’t want to deny it.
“All we can say is that we have put our name in the hat, if he is not going to Chiefs, we will see what we can do.”
