Celtic are set to play against Abafana Bes’thende in a league tie on Sunday.
The chairman of Celtic supporters club Mabena Pule confirmed told Isolezwe that the boycott was their way of voicing their frustrations about the situation at the club.
“There is a lot we spoke about as supporters regarding the team, we are also not happy about a lot of things,” Pule was quoted as saying by Isolezwe.
“We are not happy with the way Komphela left the club, and we don’t blame him, we blame the people in charge of the team.”
Pule has asked other Celtic fans not to buy tickets for the game.
