Caf fixtures disrupt Premiership race
Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns both face fixture disruption in their pursuit of the Absa Premiership title because of SuperSport United's and Bidvest Wits' participation in the Caf Confederation Cup play-offs.

The Buccaneers’ meeting with Matsatsantsa on April 7 at Mbombela Stadium has had to be postponed because the Tshwane side are in Kenya to face Gor Mahia in the first leg of their Confederation Cup clash on the same weekend.
As for Mamelodi Sundowns, their April 18 game at home to Wits will also have to be moved because, a day earlier, the Clever Boys are scheduled to be in Nigeria to play Enyimba in the second leg of their Caf Confederation Cup play-off match.
Wits are already set to have their April 6 meeting at Ajax Cape Town postponed because that falls on the same weekend as their first-leg meeting with Enyimba.
Pirates currently trail Sundowns by just one point at the top of the table, although Pitso Mosimane’s side have a game in hand. Both teams will play on April 4, with Pirates at home to Bloemfontein Celtic and Sundowns welcoming Chippa United.
Orlando Pirates left back Innocent Maela, meanwhile, continued a fantastic season by making his debut in the Four Nations tournament in Zambia against the host nation on Saturday.
“Making my debut for Bafana Bafana was an honour and a privilege,” he said.
