The Stallions coach, Paul Duarte, hinted that the FBF could sue Fifa if results don’t go their way in the last qualifiers.
“Senegal is dependent on us, we are going to play to win [the next match], and afterwards, we are going to play the last game. We will go to court, to Fifa, to CAS, in all the places where we have to claim, because what happened is weird,” Duarte is quoted as saying.
Burkina Faso are currently leading the group with six points. They’re tied with Cape Verde, but have a better goal difference.
Senegal are third with five points, and South Africa are fourth with four points.
