Bucks sign former AmaTuks winger

National First Division side Mthatha Bucks have strengthened their attack with the signing of Auguston Leonard.

The speedy winger, who has had spells with Moroka Swallows, Bloemfontein Celtic, AmaTuks and Milano United and Highlands Park, has signed an eight-month contract following a three-week trial, the club confirmed on their official website.

“He impressed the Mthatha Bucks technical team at training and in the few practice matches that we have played. We believe that he will bring in a lot of value to our team and help steer the ship towards the direction we want.

“We wish him all the best in his stay with Amathol’amnyama,” read a statement on the club’s website.

Bucks are set to host Super Eagles in an NFD match at Mthatha Stadium on Saturday at 3.30pm.
