Brockie wanted to leave the club in the August transfer period with Mamelodi Sundowns believed to have made him a good offer. However, SuperSport decided to keep the striker.
Now, Matthews says Matsatsantsa would let Brockie go should they win the Caf Confederation Cup.
“We are expecting the noise around Brockie to start against in January, but what I know is that he won’t behave the way he did in the recent window,” Matthews told Isolezwe.
“I had a chat with him about it and we agreed that we will deal with it differently. If we win the Caf Confed Cup then we will listen to offers and allow him to leave. If that doesn’t happen but we win the Telkom Knockout, we won’t stand in his way,” added Matthews.
