Booysen, who spent last season on loan with SuperSport United, says does not know if there is a place for him in Pitso Mosimane’s squad.
“I am looking forward to the new 2017/18 campaign. Winning yet another Nedbank Cup with SuperSport United was very important for my career and my progress as a professional footballer,” said the former Ajax Cape Town centre-back.
“I don’t know yet whether or not I will be playing for Mamelodi Sundowns in the new season. I am still contracted to the club, but whatever decision is made by management in the coming weeks, whether I am sent out on loan again or not, I will continue to work hard and give 100 percent.”
Booysen is currently with the Bafana Bafana squad preparing for the second leg of the Chan qualifier against Botswana.
The 28-year-old captained the side in the 2-0 win in the first leg in Francistown last Saturday.
