Bucs are in the race for the league title and head into this game on 31 points after 17 games, three points behind leaders Bidvest Wits, who are on 34 points and have played one game more.
The last time the sides met Bakgaga denied Bucs a trophy when they won 3-2 on penalties to be crowned Telkom Knockout champions in December.
Baroka on the other side will not only be aiming to cause an upset against Pirates, but will also be looking to move out of the relegation zone.
Bakgaga are currently 14th on the log after winning only three matches out of the 17 game played so far this season.
