Leopards earned their spot in the second round thanks to a penalty shootout win over Orlando Pirates late last month. Lidoda Duvha held the Buccaneers 1-1 at home after extra time before claiming victory 5-4 in the spot kicks.
Wits, meanwhile, secured their place in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup by handing minnows Boyne Tigers a 4-0 drubbing at home.
