The Cape Town City coach missed his side's league game against Orlando Pirates on Wednesday night due to the medical emergency.

Benni McCarthy’ wife was suffering a collapsed lung which required surgery and the former Bafana Bafana striker decided to be by her side.
A City official told TimesLive that McCarthy’s wife, Stacey, is recovering well after her surgery this week.
Meanwhile, City players have been given a weekend off and will resume training on Monday to prepare for next week Saturday’s MTN 8 final against SuperSport United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
