Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy has tipped Mamelodi Sundowns to win the Premiership title.
Orlando Pirates currently lead Sundowns by a point‚ but Bucs have played a game more.
The Brazilians could leapfrog Bucs if they beat Golden Arrows on Tuesday night.
“Sundowns … they are going to be more dangerous because now they are going to have a lot of time to focus (after their exit from the Caf Champions League at the weekend).
“They have got a bigger squad‚ a lot of quality in terms of replacements you can make‚” McCarthy told SowetanLIVE when asked who would win the league title.

“As much as some might say a one-point gain is better than having two games to play‚ I would rather have the two games than just having got one point.
“Their position is far better in this situation with two games to go. Pitso [Mosimane] knows what he has to do,” he added.
Meanwhile, McCarthy has apologised to Pirates for ruining their league chances after the two sides played to a 2-2 draw at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.
“I have to sincerely apologise to Orlando Pirates that today wasn’t going to be the day they become champions on my watch,” commented the former Bafana Bafana striker.
