Following the return of midfielder Ronald Putche, McCarthy has everybody, bar the injured Aubrey Ngoma, available for selection for this clash.
“I’ve been having headaches for the last couple of days because we have more than 18 players, so just selecting the 18-man squad for this game is a problem,” McCarthy said.
“Some players are going to be disappointed, rightfully so, but I have to pick the 11 who I believe deserve to wear the jersey for the team, the club and the supporters. The players have stepped up the intensity at training this week, in a bid to make the squad, and now it’s up to me to make good, positive decisions that benefit the team.”
City are set to meet SuperSport in the MTN8 final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday night (kick-off 7pm).
