Baxter announces Bafana Bafana squad

Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has named his 26-man Bafana Bafana squad to take part in this month’s four-nation tournament.


Bafana will play the hosts Zambia, Zimbabwe and Angola in a four-nation tournament in Ndola, Zambia, set to be played from March 18-27.

The Bafana squad:

Goalkeepers: Itumeleng Khune (Kaizer Chiefs), Darren Keet (Wits), Brandon Petersen (Ajax Cape Town)

Defenders: Reeve Frosler (Bidvest Wits), Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Daniel Cardoso (both Kaizer Chiefs), Thulani Hlatshwayo, Buhle Mkhwanazi, Sifiso Hlanti (Bidvest Wits), Motjeka Madisha (Mamelodi Sundowns), Innocent Maela (Orlando Pirates)

Midfielders: Dean Furman, Teboho Mokoena, Aubrey Modiba (all Supersport United), Themba Zwane, Sibusiso Vilakazi (Mamelodi Sundowns), Siphesihle Ndlovu (Maritzburg United), Kamohelo Mokotjo (Brentford FC), Bongani Zungu (Amiens), Thembinkosi Lorch (Orlando Pirates), Keagan Dolly (Montpellier), Phakamani Mahlambi (Al Ahly)
