Club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele confirmed that the defender wouldn’t take part in their all-important clash against Sundowns, which is set to take place at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
“Of course, we encourage our players to get married and settle with their partners because marriage is a blessing from God. So we gave him leave to go enjoy his special day and we wish him luck. I will be there early in the morning, even after the match I will pass there,” Mphahlele was quoted as saying by Limsportzone.
Baroka are still not safe from relegation as they still need a few wins from the remaining games to move to safety.
