Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis says they are close to completing their preparation for the 2019 Fifa Women’s World Cup.

Ellis said this ahead of their last home match in the country against Jamaica at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on April 7.
Banyana and the Reggae Girlz will be making their debut at the global showpiece and Ellis says the team has learnt a lot from the recent Cyprus Women’s Cup, where they finished in 10th place.
“We were in Cyprus recently and we saw and learnt a lot there and we are happy with the squad at the moment. We can just have a look at what the new faces have to offer and take it from there, but we are almost close to finalising the World Cup,” said Ellis.
Jamaica are ranked 58th in the women’s world rankings while Banyana are 48th.
