Bafana star completes university degree

Percy Tau has announced that he has completed his BCom degree from the University of South Africa.

The Bafana Bafana striker confirmed on his Twitter page that he will be graduating soon.

“I’m very proud to have completed my degree. I know mama is very excited and I can’t wait for my graduations #Bcom,” read a tweet from Tau.

Tau had previously talked about having to write exams while playing for Mamelodi Sundowns and the difficulties of balancing the two.

In an interview with SABC Sport’s Thomas Mlambo before his record fee move to English Premiership side Brighton Albion and Hove, Tau spoke about his exam results and the challenges that come with having to study for exams while travelling across the continent to play matches for the former Caf Champions League kings.

The 24-year-old moved from Sundowns to Brighton and Hove Albion and was later loaned out to Belgian side Royal Union Saint Gilloise.
