Bafana hit by injuries ahead of Mali clash
Goalkeeper Brandon Petersen and defender Thamsanqa Mkhize have been withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad to face Mali in the 2019 Nelson Mandela Challenge on Sunday.

The injured duo has been replaced by Ricardo Goss of Bidvest Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic’s Tshepo Rikhotso.

The annual commemoration match will be played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth at 3pm.
This will be Molefi Ntseki’s first match since being appointed head coach of Bafana Bafana.
Bafana are using this match to prepare for the next month’s Total Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana and Sudan.
The updated Bafana squad:
Goalkeepers: Darren Keet (OH-Leuven, Belgium), Ronwen Williams (SuperSport United), Ricardo Goss (Bidvest Wits).
Defenders: Erick Mathoho (Kaizer Chiefs), Thulani Hlatshwayo, Buhle Mkhwanazi (both Wits), Thapelo Morena, Mosa Lebusa (both Mamelodi Sundowns), Innocent Maela (Orlando Pirates), Tshepo Rikhotso (Bloemfontein Celtic).
Midfielders: Kamo Mokotjo (Brentford, England), Lebohang Phiri (Guingamp, France), Bongani Zungu (Amiens, France), Dean Furman (SuperSport), Keagan Dolly (Montpellier, France), Thulani Serero (Al Jazira, UAE), Thato Mokeke (CT City), Themba Zwane (Sundowns), Thembinkosi Lorch (Pirates).
Forwards: Percy Tau (Club Brugge, Belgium), Lebo Mothiba (Strasbourg, France), Bradley Grobler (SuperSport), Kermit Erasmus (CT City).
