Asante Kotoko striker reportedly agrees to join Pirates

Songne Yacouba has reportedly reached an agreement with Orlando Pirates to join the Soweto giants in the new season.

According to reports from Ghana, Yacouba came to South Africa to have talks with Pirates and the parties agreed on personal terms and what is left now is for Pirates and Kotoko to agree on transfer fee.

“The Buccaneers inquired about the striker’s availability last week and it looks like they have taken one step ahead,” read a report on Ghanasoccernet.

Yacouba is said to be on the radar of a number of clubs in Africa including Zesco United and Zamalek.

The striker, who joined Kotoko in January last year, has expressed his desire to leave the club at the end of the season.
