Arrows striker set to join Highlands – report

Golden Arrows striker Lerato Lamola will join Highlands Park at the end of the season, according to reports.

According to Isolezwe,  Lamola will not renew his contract with Abafana Bes’thende and has signed a pre-contract with the Lions of the North in January.

“He is leaving Arrows, the club’s management don’t like the fact that he would like to leave the club, however they have failed to make him sign an extension,” a source told Isolezwe. “He has already signed a pre-contract with Highlands in January. It made sense to him to sign with Highlands Park, he will be 33 in June, he needs to think about his future, he has relatives in Tembisa so he is going back home.”

Lamola refused to comment on his future with Arrows, saying he is still contracted to Abafana Bes’thende and will continue to contribute to the team’s success.
