Arrows on the brink of second Diski Challenge title
Log leaders Golden Arrows could wrap up the 2017/18 MultiChoice Diski Challenge title this weekend with a win against second-placed Ajax Cape Town on Saturday.

For the 2015/16 champions to secure the title this weekend, they’ll need to defeat Ajax Cape Town away from home and hope fellow title contenders Bloemfontein Celtic lose to Chippa United.
Both matches are on Saturday: Ajax Cape Town vs Golden Arrows kicks off at 10am while Bloemfontein Celtic’s clash against Chippa United is at 12pm.
The Durban-based side top the log standings with 28 points, five and six points clear of Ajax Cape Town and Bloemfontein Celtic respectively.
With just three rounds of fixtures left until the conclusion of the season, a win against a resurgent Ajax Cape Town, which has collected 14 points from a possible 18 in their last six outings after a stuttering start to the season, will propel them to 31 points.
Celtic could frustrate Golden Arrows’ title ambitions. A win against Chippa United will see them hold the six-point gap between them and Golden Arrows heading into the penultimate round of the season.
