Arrows missed Mahachi, Nonyane’s experience in Chiefs defeat – Larsen
Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen admits that losing Kudakwashe Mahachi and Lehlohonolo Nonyane had a negative effect on his team.

Larsen, however, adds that the forced substitutions cannot be used an excuse for their 3-0 loss against Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup over the weekend.
Mahachi, who is set to go for X-ray on Monday to determine the extent of his injury, sustained an ankle injury in the 18th minute of the game.
Abafana bes’thende also lost Nonyane through a forced injury change in the opening minutes of the second stanza.

“Losing Mahachi and Nonyane through injuries in the game did have a negative effect on us, because we had to make two forced substitutions, so it had an effect. But we had players that came in and did very well, we had players on the bench and we can’t make excuses. I was happy with the performance of the players,” Larsen told Phakaaathi.
