The Belgian side announced on their website that they have agreed to terminate Jali’s contract.
Jali is returning to South Africa after ending his relationship with KV Oostende, the Belgian club has confirmed.
The club statement:
Contract Andile Jali ended. KVO and Andile Jali will be broken by mutual agreement. Jali leaves with immediate effect to his native South Africa. Andile Jali arrived in Oostende in January 2014. He came from the South African Orlando Pirates. In October 2017, the defensive midfielder rounded the cape of 100 matches at KVO. His contract expired at the end of this season and he decided earlier to return to his native country. A few weeks ago Jali fell out with a knee injury which made his season almost as good as it was. Now it was decided in mutual consultation to terminate the contract with immediate effect. We thank Andile for his 4.5 years at KVO and we wish him every success in his native country![translated from Dutch to English).”
