Anas was awarded Man of the match after scoring a brace in his side’s 2-2 draw against Ajax Cape Town on Friday evening.
Then, in a moment that caused mass hilarity on Twitter, Anas appeared to accidentally reveal his womanising ways while accepting his man of the match award.
“Thank you very much for giving me this (Award). And I appreciate my fans, also my wife and my girlfriend,” said Anas in the post match interview.
He tried to correct quickly correct his error and said: “I mean my wife, sorry to say. I’m sorry, my wife.”
The Ea Lla Koto man has come out to explain his slip.
“My family knows that I call my daughter my girlfriend. That’s what I was talking about. I don’t have a girlfriend,” Anas was quoted as saying by The Sun.
