AmaZulu want to keep Morton

AmaZulu coach Cavin Johnson says he wouldn't mind keeping on-loan Michael Morton permanently.

Morton moved to Usuthu on loan from SuperSport United at the start of the season.

Johnson says it is early to talk about players’ movements with the end of the season a few months away, however admits to admiring the way Morton plays.

“We haven’t decided yet, we spoke about it even when we got him, he has done well for us. Loan players always put in a shift at this time of the season so that they can go back to their clubs and say ‘look at what I have done, do you want me or not?’. To me he is still the same Michael Morton that I worked with when I was at SuperSport, I would be happy to have him in my squad if he wants to stay,” Johnson told Phakaaathi.
