AmaZulu shaping up nicely in seclusion
Coach Cavin Johnson has hailed AmaZulu’s decision to use a secluded North Coast Crawford College as he feels it has given the players time to bond and absorb his philosophy.

Usuthu were forced to use the private school’s facilities as their usual Moses Mabhida outer fields were being revamped.
“We have to give credit to Crawford North Coast for allowing us to train here and giving us the opportunity to train in a very secluded place. It gives the players a lot of time to be with each other because we are here from 8am to about 5pm or 6pm each day. We’re really doing a lot, but in saying that you can only train so much.
“Then the rest is that, you’re hoping that the mentality sinks in a little bit harder. Yes, we’re doing a lot more than we did in the last two seasons only because we wanted to be counted this year,” said the former Platinum Stars mentor.
Johnson also revealed that new signings, Lehlohonolo Majoro and Andre de Jongh have settled in well.
““The players that we brought in like, Lehlohonolo Majoro and Andre de Jongh, are doing better with the team now. We know each other better. We haven’t brought in a lot of people and in the same time there’s nothing outside of football that has affected us so we’re preparing well,” he said.
