This comes after the Daily Sun reported on Tuesday that Johnson and Manzini had a heated bust-up at training after the coach asked the striker to pull up his socks.
Usuthu, however, have come out to refute the claims.
“Coach Cavin Johnson and Rhulani Manzini enjoy a healthy working relationship, as does any other member of the squad at AmaZulu with the technical staff,” AmaZulu media officer Brilliant Mkhathini told the club’s website.
“Claims such as the ones made on the article are totally unfounded. As a club we do not appreciate them, and only we view this as just one of many ways people have resorted to, to try and destabilise AmaZulu this season,” added Mkhathini.
