AmaZulu looking forward to historical clash against Pirates

AmaZulu FC general manager Lunga Sokhela says their fixture against Orlando Pirates is one of the most highly anticipated games in Durban.


“When you think of this fixture, there is none bigger than this one. AmaZulu versus Orlando Pirates is one of those special fixtures on the PSL calendar,” Sokhela was quoted as saying by the club’s website.

“It is one of those games we want to win. It is one of those fixtures that everyone in Durban is raring for. These are two of the oldest and greatest clubs in the PSL.”

The Usuthu general manager added that the two clubs share a great history.

“People will be coming from all corners of the country to Durban, at the King Zwelithini Stadium on 15 April at 15h00 to witness a clash of giants,” he continued.

“Two clubs with great history and the great rivalry between them. The city is hyped up and the two clubs are also hyped up. It is a must see and this is a historical clash – AmaZulu FC versus Orlando Pirates.”

The clash will take place at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday.

The last time the Buccaneers and Usuthu met spoils were shared following a 1-1 draw at the Orlando Stadium.
