AmaZulu confirm Chippa swap deal

Chippa United striker Rhulani Manzini has joined AmaZulu in a swap deal that saw defender Ayabulela Konqobe go the other way.

The deal was announced by Usuthu on their official website.

“The club has bolstered their attacking arsenal with the addition of former Chippa United striker Rhulani Manzini, who has been drafted in on a three-year deal.

“Welcoming of the 29-year-old goal poacher to Usuthu set up will see 22-year-old defender Ayabulela Konqobe going to the Port Elizabeth-based Chippa United on a swap deal,” read a statement on the club’s website.

AmaZulu general manager Lunga Sokhela hopes Manzini will be a good addition to the team.

“We welcome Rhulani to AmaZulu, and hope that he will be a good addition to the squad. As for Ayabulela Konqobe, we wish him all the best,” commented Sokhela.
