Amajita move closer to World Cup qualification

The SA Under-20 team is one step away from reaching next year's 2019 Caf Africa Cup of Nations in Niger after they defeated Mozambique 3-0 (4-1 on aggregate) in Rustenburg on Sunday.

The top four teams in Niger will advance through to the Under-20 World Cup in Poland in May next year.

South Africa will now advance to the third round of qualifiers and play Malawi in July.

Against Mozambique, two goals from striker Lyle Foster and another from Wiseman Meyiwa were enough to comprehensively clinch their tie to ensure their progression in the qualifiers.
