The top four teams in Niger will advance through to the Under-20 World Cup in Poland in May next year.
South Africa will now advance to the third round of qualifiers and play Malawi in July.
Against Mozambique, two goals from striker Lyle Foster and another from Wiseman Meyiwa were enough to comprehensively clinch their tie to ensure their progression in the qualifiers.
