Ajax were docked nine points by arbitrator William Mokhari after they were found guilty of fielding Tendai Ndoro, which automatically relegated them from the Premiership.

But Ajax will go to the court to try and stop Wednesday’s playoff game between National First Division side Black Leopards and Stars, set to take place in Thohoyandou.
“Ajax Cape Town are currently consulting with their legal team regarding William Mokhari SC’s arbitration ruling released this morning‚” the club said in a statement posted on their Twitter account.
“The club is in the process of preparing papers to be filed urgently before the High Court in Johannesburg for the matter to be heard tomorrow morning at 10am.
“Amongst other issues‚ the club will seek to interdict the promotion playoffs from commencing on Wednesday 16th May at 3pm.
“This will be sought pending an urgent review of the arbitrator’s award this morning.”
