Ajax found guilty of fielding Ndoro, relegated to NFD

Ajax Cape Town are set to campaign in the National First Division next season after they were found guilty of fielding Tendai Ndoro.

Ajax will forfeit matches against Platinum Stars, Polokwane City and SuperSport United.

“They lose all three matches 3-0 & fined R50 000 on each offence,” read part of Mokhari’s ruling.

Ndoro was also found guilty, and is expected to receive a two-match suspension.

This means Ajax go from 31 points to 22 after they were docked nine points by arbitrator William Mokhari, automatically relegating them from the Premiership.

Platinum Stars will now play in the relegation/promotion playoffs against Black Leopards and Jomo Cosmos.
