Agent apologises to Chiefs for Bvuma wage saga

This comes after reports emerged this past weekend that the 22-year-old goalkeeper is earning a R5k salary per month at Chiefs despite playing a few games for the senior team.

Chiefs issued a statement on Monday saying Bvuma’s inclusion in the first team was due to an “emergency situation” following injuries to first-choice goalkeepers Itumeleng Khune and Brilliant Khuzwayo.

“He [Bvuma] is very happy, his parents are happy. I’m happy and will continue to support him. Greater things are to come from him,” Monyepao told KickOff.

“I’d like to apologise to the Kaizer Chiefs family for the commotion that the Sunday World article has caused, and plead with the soccer fraternity at large to allow the young man to grow without all this unnecessary pressure.”
